Prayer is simply talking to God. Think of any great relationship in your life, whether with a friend, parent, sibling or spouse. A huge part of that relationship is communication. As we grow as people of faith, it is necessary to communicate with our Heavenly Father. That’s what prayer is all about! Our prayer team at Hope Ankeny is a friendly group of folks who meet weekly to pray together and uplift our congregation. Everyone is welcome to participate and/or receive prayer!
Ankeny Prayer Opportunities
Thursday Night Prayer
The prayer group meets every Thursday in the prayer tower to pray together—4:30-6:00 pm. Come and go as you please!
Prayer Partners
Trained prayer partners are available following every worship service on the fourth weekend of the month. Find prayer partners located by the cross in each worship space.
Wednesday Night Study Ministry Prayer Team
This volunteer team is available to pray with and for our middle and high school students on Wednesday evenings, September–April.
The Prayer Wall is a beautiful place to submit prayer requests or pray for others’ requests.
The online prayer wall is available to submit prayer requests (anonymously if you prefer). You can also pray for these requests and receive emails when someone prays for your request.
