At Hope Ankeny Preschool, we are excited to offer a diverse range of classes tailored to provide your child with a nurturing and faith-based educational experience. Hope Ankeny Preschool offers 2-year-old, 3-year-old, Pre-K, and Transitional Kindergarten classes. Below, you’ll find detailed information about our class times and tuition.
2-Year-Old Preschool
Monday & Wednesday: 9:00-11:30 am
Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00-11:30 am
Children must be 2 years old by the first day of preschool.
- Enrollment is limited to 12 children with two teachers in each classroom.
- Tuition (2 days/week): $160/month (there is a one-time non-refundable registration fee)
3-Year-Old Preschool
Monday & Wednesday: 9:00-11:30 am
Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00-11:30 am
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00-11:30 am
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 12:30-3:00 pm
Children must be 3 years old by Sept. 15
- Enrollment is limited to 14 children with two teachers in each classroom.
- Tuition (2 days/week): $160/month (there is a one-time non-refundable registration fee)
- Tuition (3 days/week): $185/month (there is a one-time non-refundable registration fee)
Pre-K (4-Year-Old)
Monday-Thursday (half day): 9:00-11:30 am
Monday-Thursday (half-day): 12:30-3:00 pm
Monday-Thursday (extended day): 9:00-1:00 pm
Children must be 4 years old by Sept. 15
- Enrollment is limited to 12 children with two teachers in each classroom.
- Tuition (4 days/week): $215/month for half days or $295/month for extended days, (there is a one-time non-refundable registration fee)
Transitional Kindergarten Pre-K Full Day
We offer a full day Transitional Kindergarten combined with a Pre-K full day.
What is Transitional Kindergarten? Is your child old enough for kindergarten, yet not entirely prepared? We recognize an increasing demand for a program catering to children who might not possess the necessary developmental, emotional, social, or academic readiness for kindergarten at the moment. Just because your child is eligible for kindergarten doesn’t mean that you should send your child to kindergarten, especially if you believe they’re not adequately prepared and could benefit from the gift of another year. This class is designed for any child meeting the age criteria for kindergarten but opting to defer for another year.
What is Full Day Pre-K? We have extended our Pre-K curriculum into a full day classroom offering. The extra time in this classroom will be designed for extra enrichment time for your child.
How does the combination of a Pre-K/TK classroom work? We’re so glad you asked! This classroom will have two lead teachers and up to 20 students. With two lead teachers in the room this sets up our classrooms to have whole group lessons, small group times and lots of individualized learning. The curriculum has been designed to walk alongside your child at whatever level they are at during the school year. The ultimate goal of this class is to prepare these students for Kindergarten!
